Delaware & Hudson Train No. 417 makes its tri-weekly trek north from The Bronx on July 20, 2007. Operating over the CSX Oak Point Link, this track was constructed in 1998 to help freight trains bypass a congested and busy Metro-North junction. Hugging the shoreline along the Harlem River, the train is about to duck under the Third Avenue Bridge. Other landmark spans that can been seen in this view include the Willis Avenue Bridge, the Manhattan approach to the Triboro Bridge, and the famous arch of Hell Gate Bridge.
