BigQuestion

What’s your most successful midway game? Bengt Palmqvist, Gröna Lund, Sweden: Our most popular game is the Kentucky Derby [pictured in background]. It’s easy to understand and fun for everyone, both young and old. And since the staff also acts as sports commentators of the game, as in a real horse race, this brings out the winning spirit in everyone. We also offer the Kentucky Derby as one of several games that can be enjoyed by teams in our Pentathlon event, which is popular with company parties or simply as part of a great night out with friends.

Donald Dalton, Canobie Lake, USA: Our 3-Point Challenge has been a success in part because people want to live out the dream of hitting the shot at the buzzer to win the big game. On any given day you walk by and there will be a crowd of guests lining the fence and cheering on others as they take their shots. If you take the experience and combine it with the brightly coloured design of our court and signage along with our playlist of current hit songs with the thrill of winning an iPad, it's no surprise that 3-Point Challenge has been our most successful midway game.

Mike Fehnel, Carowinds, USA: 3-Point Challenge [pictured below] continues to be our most successful midway game. The game offers a unique experience, and guests are just as interested in playing for the prize as they are to try to beat their own high score. Moving forward, we need to find unique experiences in which guests want to participate.
