P&O Cruises unveils Aurora as first ship to display new union flag livery

Aurora will be the first P&O Cruises ship to receive the new union flag livery when it undergoes a £26 million makeover this year. It will enter drydock in Hamburg
between November 29 and December 18. Aurora will then sail a Christmas and New Year cruise before departing on a South America and Pacific Adventure world cruise on January 8. The refit will include the
introduction of Sindhu restaurant, with a menu designed by Michelin- starred chef Atul Kochhar. The Glass House is replacing Cafe Bordeaux, while the buffet area will also receive a makeover. Children’s club The Reef will be completely refurbished and

Norwegian starts family and friends campaign Norwegian Cruise Line is running a ‘Bring your friends and family for free’ offer until August 26. Two full-paying adults can take up to six people for free, depending on the cabin booked. Other aspects of the refit include a revamp for the spa and the Sidewalk Cafe and the introduction of Costa Coffee. The library will be relocated near the Crow’s Nest and the casino will have a new open-plan design. P&O Cruises marketing director Christopher Edgington said: “Not only will Aurora feature favourites from Azura and Ventura, such as Sindhu and The Glass House, but we will also see new initiatives as well as the new livery. As the first ship to display our new livery, we have big plans to welcome Aurora back to Southampton.”
