in northern Minnesota where spring sometimes doesn’t arrive until June? Frozen Lake Bemidji was the site of the curling comeptition during Bemidji’s Winterfest, where
aſter an 82-year absence, outdoor curling sprung back to life. Te bonspiel featured 26 teams and was won by Bemidji native Josh Bahr and his team. According to Terry Matson, who spent 60 hours on the ice preparing, the temperature was 24 below for the low with a high temp of 4 degrees (yes, that’s Fahrenheit).
