Dedicated facility opens in Arizona

shortly aſter curling grabbed the hearts and imagination of everyone who tuned in to curling during the 2002 Winter Olympics. For the past 10 years, the Coyotes Curling Club has grown its membership and interest in curling by young and old alike, teaching more than 4,000 Valley residents to curl. Te dedicated ice facility was completed this


spring and includes daily curling activity, dur- ing daytime and evening hours, on week days and weekends. Te club will involve every de-


hrough tremendous member and community support, the Coyotes Curling Club constructed Arizo-


mographic with plans to have Junior Leagues, Senior Leagues, Young Professionals Leagues, a Wheelchair League, and Armed Forces League in addition to the standard Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed leagues. Open, Private and Corpo- rate Learn-to-Curl events will be held regularly to teach the mechanics and strategy of the game. Future Olympians will train here. Te club host- ed its annual bonspiel, the Desert Ice 'Spiel, in April in the new facility. Te Coyotes Curling Club hopes to host na-
