laser-cut wood kits, but I was not sure that they could make a wood kit look like a concrete tower. However, after seeing the photo on the kit box, I was a believer. That photo looked like concrete to me. I spoke with Russ of the N Scale Architect and then I understood why the model looked like concrete. The model uses a material called


Taskboard. This material resembles a very stiff cardstock and has a very con- crete-like surface to it. The Lackawan- na called for some surfaces to be “brush
