Since all track (other than the staging yard, which is laid with flex track and Atlas switches) is handlaid, all turnouts outside of the switching district are route controlled electrically, so new operators have to be made aware of this.


The future for the GCRY includes adding one or two more sidings and a few more structures since most of the construction is done. Trees will also be added as we are able to build them, and cars and locomotives are changed out slowly over operating seasons, so we continue to add to the fleet. We also want to work on the backdrop, as we have never been quite satisfied with it. If you are coming to the National
