In addition to Stoke City, can you tell us about some other recent successful contracts? Are you working on any notable upcoming new projects at the moment?
In Germany, we had recently equipped two Division 1 hockey arenas and one multipurpose indoor arena with our seats. We were just awarded the contract to supply seats to the Spartak stadium in Moscow, which is the fi rst stadium being built for the 2018 World Cup. We are currently working on many potential arena and stadium projects worldwide and are always close to signing one or the other exciting contract.
What has been your most successful seating product to date in the sports market?
Historically, our traditional seating model BERLIN has been installed in large numbers all around the world. 70,000 of these very solid double-tube tip-up seats found their way into the Berlin Olympic stadium. The same kind of seats can be seen in four South African 2010 World Cup stadiums and in three 2014 Brazil World Cup venues.
Can you give us an example of a particularly challenging project that you were involved in?
Last summer we supplied new VIP seats for German top football side FC Schalke 04. VELTINS Arena with its retractable pitch is still one of the most modern stadiums in Europe. Because of this, no one VIP seating area was like another in terms of quantity of seats, measurements, positioning of stairways, etc. Measurement activities and planning took days and weeks. To increase the number of seats by 30% was another big challenge. Time to deliver was quite limited since they had staged some huge entertainment events

It sounds as if your solutions are designed for both new build projects and the renovation of existing venues?
We do not offer just two or three models. This enables us to be ready for many different tasks. I do not know any seating company offering such a wide
