Blacklock(8) participated in the Super KIDS Triathlon in Herald, Calif., on Sept. 8, 2013, with
fellow Plainfield
Elementary students Kyra Blacklock, Carley Hunt and Whitney Hunt. He raced in a superhero costume and placed third in his age group.
Gabby Niko (14) enjoyed racing in two events, in two days, in

right, swam side by side in their first tris. Oli was nervous about the swim, so her big brother made sure to never leave her side. They pushed through the race together and crossed the finish line with smiles.
