THE TRAVEL TECH SHOW AT WTM


World Travel Market 2013 saw the launch of ‘a show within a show’ concept for the first time with the inaugural The Travel Tech Show at WTM. The technology region of WTM has grown at a phenomenal rate over the past five years, which led to the introduction of the dedicated travel technology event.


The event saw 61 new exhibitors sign up including technology giant Amadeus, while more than 1,000 senior technology buyers attended, helping WTM to facilitate deals worth more than £2 billion.


• 1,423 WTM attendees were interested in buying travel technology products


• 90% of these people held senior management positions in their respective companies


• 41% of attendees had budget level responsibilities of between US$1m to US$10m
