The Dead Sea Throughout history the Dead Sea has attracted tourists and locals alike for its unique properties that help to soothe and revitalise the mind, body and soul. Located 400metres below sea level, with 330 days of sunshine a year, the area contains a unique mixture of extra oxygen and bromine which helps visitors relax and rejuvenate.
