One of London’s black cabs has been transformed with stylish Environ and iiaa graphics.
The taxi’s first outing brought Environ founder Dr Des Fernandes to a seminar where he gave a preview of new Environ professional and homecare products to an audience ofmore than 500 beauty professionals.
The cab can be spotted in and around London’s city centre until the end of February.
Impressive anti-ageing trial
results CACI International revealed impressive Clinical Results for the CACIMicrolift, their first at-home device, with 93%of women saying they would continue using the gadget as part of their regular skin care routine.
The study, conducted byAspen Clinical Research, featured 30 female volunteers aged between 35 and
65.They used the CACI Microlift anti-ageing device for 10minutes three times per week over a four week period (two hours total usage).The results showed 1/3 wrinkle depth reduction, 35%skin elasticity improvement and 83%skin improvement. Eighty percent said that skin lookedmore toned and facial contours were lifted; 77%reported softened fine lines and firmer skin, whilst 73%said skin wasmore supple.
Show goers were said to have jumped at the opportunity to see the latest offerings from theAmerican marine skin care brand.

Innovations in lip care boost sales
Sales of lip products grew in the UK between September 2012 andAugust 2013, while sales were soft elsewhere in Europe.
Research carried out by The NPD Group Inc. showed that lip segments increased 8%, generating £70 million in prestige lip sales. France held relatively flat during this time, and Italy and Spain experienced small declines.
Report authors believe that the increase is due to lips keeping in step with nail colour trends. “Consumers are responding to the new options and innovations in beauty and what better way than with some bold lips that make a statement,” says Karen Grant,Vice President and senior global industry analyst at The NPD Group, Inc.
She adds: “Innovations in lip [products] are winning consumers over with the ability to provide rich color [sic], as well as moisture and high shine – a perfect combination to enhance appearance while providing the benefits women are looking for.”
