The Winnie the Pooh nursery and infant range will take a new direction in 2014, as it becomes the lead brand under the new Disney Baby umbrella. Products include plush, cot mobiles, light shows and toys. Key new lines include the Balloon Light Show, plus the Winnie the Pooh Protect & Play icase, an iPhone holder and protector that fits iPhones 4, 4S and 5. Moving on, and Tomy’s
Play to Learn range will see a complete rebrand for 2014, sitting under the Tomy Toys umbrella with
ASOBI
Asobi revealed its exclusive distribution deal with traditional toy brand Vilac earlier this year. The range includes musical instruments, rattles, pull toys, ride-ons, cars, games, puzzles, role- play toys and more, all of which are suitable from newborns up to five years plus.
The company is also the UK distributor for the adorable Alice’s Bear Shop, a collection of charismatic teddy bears created from a series of eight books.
Created by Rikey Austin, Alice’s Bear Shop was originally based on a collection of her own bedtime stories in which Alice, who is the main character, could talk to her teddy bears.
Completing Asobi’s pre-
school collection is the ethical brand, Uncle Goose. Traditional baby gifts include the classic ABC blocks, through to different languages (including hieroglyphics) and blocks of the periodic table. 01628 200077
new packaging and clear graphics, supported with the collection strapline: Inspiring Playtime. The toy range will include classics like Hide & Squeak Eggs and Neil the Seal, as well as introducing new character, hero counting toy Luke the Loop. Also joining the spring/summer line-up are Push n Chase Turtle and Ready, Steady, Go Giraffe. The firm is also bolstering
the Aqua Fun range with Poppin’ Penguin Island, while Aquadoodle added fresh lines, new licensed mini mats and a Helly Kitty travel drawing bag this year.

The Moover range takes some of the traditional toys of the past and gives them a ‘styleover’ to transform them into the classics of the future. They feature cool contemporary lines and classic retro styling. There are seven designs in the Moover
range: Baby Walker, Baby Truck, Dump Truck, Doll’s Pram, Rocking Horse, plus new for Christmas will be the Mini Doll’s Pram and Prairie Wagon. Four of the styles are
delivered in self-assemble form and all come in elegant, clean and stylish packaging. The Prairie Wagon will be
available in an authentic natural wood colour with striking red carriage wheels.
DKL The Miniland line includes Miniland Pairs, Mini Puzzles and the best selling Aptitude Box Sets. These feature a wide variety of learning toys targeted from three years old to pre-school age. Wonderworld has a

StackTrack will continue to be
prominent in 2014,
building on its core features of action packed, sturdy, flexible track building. Next year will introduce a ‘taking it to the top’ strategy with a collection of escalators and lifts to move trains and equipment up the elevated tracks. New character engines will also be added. Also taking centre stage
for 2014 is Chuggington’s Wooden Railway range, with new products focusing on action and adventure. Hero engines Calley, Hanzo and
Zack join the fleet. Tomy’s licensed Dinosaur Train range will be added to with an InterAction Mr Conductor and new train car packs, with a Morris, Tank or Ned figure and a decorated train car to match. Finally, the new John
