SECTOR GUIDE: DINOSAURS ROBOTIC T-REX, GREEN BOARD GAMES
In the run up to Christmas, Green Board Games is pushing its Robotime wooden dinosaurs, a range the firm boasts has recieved lots of positive feedback since its launch in 2012. With detailed instructions, and simple construction, each dinosaur in the range can be slotted together, before adding a battery to bring the creation to life.
There are four in the range
of prehistoric robots to collect – including the T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Mammoth. With an interest in

MR CONDUCTOR: THE DINOSAUR TRAIN, TOMY
Following on from the DNA Fusion story, series two of the firm’s top selling Predasaurs will be launching in January 2014 with Insect Invasion. Ahead of release, The In Thing has confirmed sampling activity with boy’s magazine, Toxic. Each Toxic reader will receive a figure foil pack. The line will be
supported with in-store activity similar to Dinosaur Hunt of series one.

MEGASAURS, GROSSMAN
A consistent performer for Tomy throughout the year and based on the hit Nick Jr show, Dinosaur Train, the toy range sits nicely in the firm’s prehistoric pre-school portfolio. Joining the interactive dinosaur line-up in 2014 will be the InterAction character, Mr Conductor. Featuring interactive
phrases that are triggered by pressing the character’s interaction button, Mr Conductor lights up and can recognise and interact with other dinosaurs in the range.
Coming soon, the range
will also welcome the addition of new collectable train car packs featuring a Morris, Tank or Ned figure with a matching decorated train car. Meanwhile, the firm continues to push its 2013 hero dinosaur, Roar and React Boris with a TV campaign running throughout October and November.
