Emirates Holidays launches 2014 product


BY LAURA GELDER EMIRATES Holidays unveiled its new 2014 brochure this October, inviting travel agents to celebrate at the Emirates Aviation Experience in Greenwich. The new brochure contains 22 new properties including Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa in Mauritius and luxury pool villa resort Banyan Tree Lang Co in Vietnam. New additions to the Dubai and UAE


section include the boutique four-star Vida Downtown Dubai and the affordable beachside JA Ocean View Hotel, as well as five-stars like Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, with its over-water villas. The brochure features programmes in Maldives, Seychelles, Oman, Sri Lanka, India, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Burma, Australia and New Zealand, as well as combination stays in Southeast Asia. CTC man heads to Ritz Carlton


NICO Fournier, the Canadian Tourism Commission’s Travel Trade Manager, is to leave the CTC on November 15. “The CTC team would like to thank Nico for his enthusiasm and passion for Canada over the last years and wish him every success in his new role with Ritz Carlton,” said a CTC spokesperson. Such sentiments are echoed by Selling Long Haul, which has been working closely with Nico on Selling Canada. Look out for the 40-page Winter 2013/14 edition of the magazine, which was distributed with this issue of Selling Long Haul.
