stargazing and solar gazing with an astrology expert twice a year. Its isolated location in the Indian Ocean means it has inky black skies, miles from any light pollution, and Laamu, one of the most southerly islands with perfect visibility, is a great choice for just staring at the sky. Six Senses also has a strong eco-friendly vibe - much of it is made up of natural, sustainable materials. I loved their barefoot policy. There was something Robinson Crusoe about it but also felt like a luxury - the warm sand and decking under your toes. The Maldives is known for diving and snorkelling but there’s also water sports and even a surf break.
