8 QUEENSLAND BRISBANE
Overview: With a warm climate and an island and reef close, the city of Brisbane has many options for incentive experiences, with teambuilding activities and corporate initiatives.
8 CAIRNS
Activities: Cuddle a koala; kayak the Brisbane River at night; climb Story Bridge; have a V8 car driving experience; take a private yacht cruise; dive or snorkel the wrecks around Tangalooma Island; handfeed wild dolphins that swim up to the beach.
Access: Brisbane Airport has had a $4.2 billion upgrade. Close to the city and with a rail service, flights link it to 30 international destinations and 44 domestic airports.
Venues: From Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre to unique venues like Brisbane Powerhouse, the city can cater for groups of up to 8000 delegates.
Accommodation: There are more than 13,000 guest rooms and international hotel brands including Hilton, Marriott and Sofitel in the city centre.
CAIRNS
Overview: Relaxed with a tropical climate, Cairns has rainforest, islands and the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. See wildlife ranging from parrots and platypus to butterflies and crocodiles.
Activities: Go night diving on the reef to see marine life including giant turtles; take part in a rainforest revegetation project; go sky diving; experience traditional hunting and gathering; see wildlife; go white-water rafting; stand in the world’s longest lava flow; explore limestone caves; dine in the oldest rainforests in the world.
Access: Cairns Airport is serviced by six international airlines, with direct flights from Asia. All major domestic carriers connect Cairns directly to Australia’s capital cities.
Venues: Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef region has purpose-built and offsite venues including the award- winning Cairns Convention Centre, five-star resorts and rainforest retreats. The region can support groups of up to 5000 delegates.
Accommodation: There are 7000 hotel rooms in Cairns and 8000 in nearby Port Douglas village. Accommodation ranges from boutique or apartment-style to five-star international hotels.
GOLD COAST
Overview: The Gold Coast has the largest range of theme parks in the Southern Hemisphere. It offers 70km of pristine coastline and 100,000ha. of rainforest.

Overview: With national attractions, Australia’s capital is close to a wine region, mountain range and coastlines.
HOBART 4

Access: Canberra is 282km from Sydney and 660km from Melbourne. Arrive by train or bus, ot take a direct flight from any Australian capital city.

7 NEWSOUTHWALES SYDNEY
Overview: Sydney has surf beaches and a natural harbour. It ha an outdoor lifestyle and offers multicultural cuisine. There is easy access to rainforest as well as an award- winning wine region.
Activities: Climb Sydney Harbour Bridge; take a Harley Davidson motorcycle tour to Bondi Beach; shop for Australia products; take a ghost tour; see behind the scenes at Sydney Opera House with an opera star; have breakfast at Taronga Zoo; see humpback whales migrating; take an Aboriginal guided tour of the Royal Botanic Gardens; take a cooking class at the Sydney Fish Markets.
Access: Just 10km from the city centre, Sydney Airport is serviced by more than 40 international airlines and all domestic carriers. It has its own train station.
Venues: Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre is about to close for rebuilding, but other spaces are available meantime for conferences including Sydney Olympic Park (10 venues and more than 100 event spaces).
Accommodation: Sydney has about 33,000 rooms, about two-thirds being in the central city.
