“This season is turning out very well. We had very poor weather in March April and May which meant we sold shoes and summer boots rather than sandals. Then in June the weather has picked up and Sandals/ Canvas are moving extremely well with Earth Spirit being a clear leader. The TBS canvas has been our find of the season and will be one of my first ports of call at Moda. We have repeated twice on this and more than doubled our initial order. There has been a clear sign that the consumer is looking for a pair of everyday sandals for under £50 but is happy to pay nearly double that for summer shoes or boots as long as they are different and comfortable.
