At last! As we write the sun is shining and we hope you will be able to take some time to sit outside and read the August edition of Pro Landscaper. During July we were involved in the judging of the Offi ce Plant of the Year – eFIG’s initiative as part of the National Plants at Work Week, and we were invited to a fantastic evening celebrating the Leicestershire based nursery James Coles 100 years of trading – a great achievement. Q Lawns celebrated its 20th birthday with a well thought out event, combining celebrations with the important topic of sustainability. We were also really excited to be invited to
attend the Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace by Gavin Jones Ltd who hold a Royal Warrant and were exhibiting there.
RHS Hampton Court was the next big occasion in the summer calendar, the gardens and trade stands looked splendid in the sunshine. Many congratulations to APL who were promoting the use of professional landscapers and showing the value of well designed and built gardens. The Low Cost, High Impact gardens were a major success again this year. August’s issue includes all our regular excellent columnists and features. Please do give us your views on the magazine (whether good or bad), as this helps us to continually grow and develop, to make sure Pro Landscaper remains your number one choice.
