1. Noughty but nice Y

eo Valley Noughty Y oghurt,

89p/150g For that afternoon sweet treat without the guilt attached, we’ve been coveting the new range of yoghurts from Yeo Valley’s Somerset-based farm. The super thick, fat-free natural yoghurt is as creamy as ever, but delve deeper and you’ll find a fruity layer of sweet compote. The range has four new flavours: a tart raspberry and vanilla, a berry-bursting blueberry and blackcurrant, a floral fig and honey and a refreshingly zesty mango, lime and lemongrass. Available in Waitrose Cheltenham and Cirencester. ✱ www.yeovalley.co.uk

2. A right royal treat Prestat Dark & Milk Chocolate Thins, £11/200g You don’t get a higher seal of approval than a Royal Warrant, and if Her Maj is a fan of your chocs then it seems only right that you’d celebrate the 60th anniversary of her Coronation

with a limited-edition box of deliciousness. Teaming up with renowned illustrator Kitty Arden to help bring a touch of pomp to the fuchsia, bunting-emblazoned boxes, these chocolate thins are peppered with a moreish hint of caramel and sea salt. Try to stop after one – we dare you! Available online or in all John Lewis stores. ✱ www.prestat.co.uk

3. Good Greek Avlaki Extra Virgin Olive Oil, from £18/500ml There aren’t many dishes that wouldn’t benefit with a finishing touch of pungent extra virgin olive oil. We love the stuff. New kid on the block Avlaki ensures that every bottle of its unfiltered cold-extracted oils are grown, hand-picked and bottled from its two single estates, Avlaki and Agatheri groves, on the Greek island of Lesvos. The first offers a grassy and peppery hit while the latter has a sweeter finish with a slight citrus note. Both are deliciously complex

and sophisticated and would be perfect drizzled over salads, risottos, baked fish and, of course, bruschetta. Available from William’s Fish Market and Food Hall, Nailsworth. ✱ www.oliveoilavlaki.com

4. Raspberry royale Gibson’s Organic Raspberry Liqueur, from £15/35cl Made using a variety of organic ‘autumn bliss’ and ‘Joan J’ raspberries on a family farm on the outside of Burford, this moreish liqueur is delicious on its own, alongside a bittersweet dessert (perhaps our chocolate delice on page 26?), sloshed into a sparkling wine for a cheeky cocktail or used in cooking everything from trifle to sorbets and fools. Its just the right mix of sweet and sour. Available from the Burford Garden Company, Cotswold Food Store in Moreton in Marsh or The Organic Farm Shop in Cirencester. Visit the website for more details. ✱ www.gibsonsorganic.co.uk

5. Box clever Dinner Company hampers, from £39.20 for three courses for 2pp According to a recent survey, nearly a third of all UK adults avoid hosting dinner parties because they’re “too stressful”, while 38% say they take “too much work, time and money”. A terrible state of affairs. Well, an online company has now designed a delivery service to leave that hungry bunch with no more excuses. Dinner Company creates tried and tested menus, then the ingredients are sourced, pre-measured, boxed up and delivered free, direct to your door, anywhere in the UK. No shopping, no waste. There is then an interactive recipe to follow on the website that lets you tick off your progress step- by-step, work out timings and even sets alarms. We tried the ‘Summery Spanish Paella’ menu – which had a box packed with everything from king prawns to Brindisa smoked paprika and cinnamon sugar. ✱ www.dinnercompany.com
