Vision solutions ideal for handling MultiPix Imaging will showcase a complete family of high performance
data matrix readers, vision sensors, smart cameras and embedded machine vision systems from Datalogic Industrial Automation. The range utlitses Impact Software with over 100 tools, such as image filtering, product location, feature find, measure and flaw detection. With simple software set-up the smart camera range from VGA to 5MP resolution are suitable for processing and packing applications. Tray bake cutter Quasar Automation, specialist in food
automation solutions, will launch its new Soni-Cut tray bake cutting and portioning system at the show. Developed for cutting and portioning tray baked products, the new Soni-Cut system uses a combination of a servo- driven conveyor and three further servo axes, one rotary, to provide flexibility for lateral and longitudinal cuts on a wide range of products, using the latest Ultrasonic technology.
The system has also been designed to allow either fully integrated or stand alone operation, making it equally attractive for low, medium or high vol- ume production. Soni-Cut can be seen fully operational on the Quasar Automation stand at the show. Also on display will be a Staubli TP80

Fortress Technology will be showing a Vector integrated con- veyor and metal detector system designed to meet the latest super- market retailer standards by com- prising an audible or visual alarm to indicate when there have been metal rejects in order to help identify potential issues early. It will incorporate a Gravity metal detector for accurate inspection of bulk dry, powder or granular products and feature a robust Stealth control panel spe- cially developed for use in harsh production environments and incorporating a USB port for data capture. RapCo speeds up product changes by adjusting mechanical stops automati- cally through an integrated package of sensors, drives, a controller, display and cabling.
