Serenity's new website is a winner!
BY LAURA GELDER TO celebrate launch of the new trade section of its website, Serenity Holidays is giving away a holiday for two to The Gambia. To be in with a chane of winnning
the holiday to Kombo Beach Hotel, agents just need to spot the (obvious) random word which will be added each week
to the
website’s home page. Those who do should email three of the words along with their name and ABTA number to
trade@serenity.co.uk before May 17. The opertaor has incorporated all
of its brands – Gambia Experience, Senegal Experience, Cape Verde Experience,
Corsican Places,
Sardinian Places and Gambia Flights – into one site, and, once logged in, agents can keep up to date with the latest concessions and news, order brochures, posters and training tools and get easy access to the operator’s product sites for availability checks and online bookings.

What they spied:
KWAZULU-NATAL, South Africa, is located in the north-east of the country. The tarde group fl ew from Heathrow to Durban, via Johannesburg, on South African Airways.
• In the seaside city of Durban they visited uShaka Marine World, a marine theme park offering a mix of themed activities, rides and shopping, with an oceanarium, amusement park and beach.
• Everyone tasted the local delicacy,
bunny chow – a South African dish of hollowed out bread fi lled with curry.
• Inland in the Drakensberg region, the group enjoyed the natural setting of Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse, an 11- room lodge which offers seven-course gourmet dinners!
• They learnt some South African History at Rorke’s Drift, a key battle site from the Anglo-Zulu war.
• The group immersed themselves in Zulu culture at Shakaland, a traditional Zulu homestead and resort.
• Excellent game viewing and relaxing
spa treatments awaited everyone at the fi ve-star Thanda Main Lodge.
• On their last day, the group bought spice at Durban’s Victoria Market, visited the Juma Masjid Mosque and toured the FIFA World Cup Moses Mabida Stadium. The verdict: “The diversity that KZN offers really shone through – it has everything that excites: city, mountains, safari and beach, with an abundance of history and culture to take in en-route! We're keen to promote KZN to fi rst-time travellers."
