here has been an unusually high number of unoccupied chairs on our Editorial desk in recent weeks. For it’s the ‘travelling season’, with travel trade shows being
held in various places around the world. As I write, various members of our team are away on duty in New
Zealand, Australia and Jamaica, seeking out all the latest tourism developments and new products. Up next for our intrepid reporters over the coming few weeks are South Africa, Canada and the USA. In these difficult economic times, it would be easy to stay
bunkered down here in the office, compiling our news from home- based events and media conferences and the many hundreds of press releases that we get sent each month. But we feel that to
