Vulpine hires former Chanel head of design “I’ve wanted to bring James in for some time,” says Vulpine MD  Wignell to front Suarez UK push


 SUAREZ Paul Wignell has joined South American clothing firm Suarez to front its expansion into the UK market. Wignell formely worked at Raleigh.


 AMONTOUR Irish Marathon mountain bike champion Richie Felle has joined retail cycling and triathlon consultancy Amontour.


Based in Dublin, Felle has been recruited


to address the company’s expanding customer base and will work with the Amontour team and client roster to advise on future retail strategies and also on channel management. Felle holds a degree in sales and marketing and has spent over five years as an Elite XC mountain rider. “Richie will make the perfect addition to our team,” said Amontour MD and founder Chris Hewings.


 OMNIPEX Former junior international rider Rob Kennison has joined Bio-Racer distributor Onimpex as sales agent for the South region.

Kennison will be responsible for the Bio- Racer clothing brand and will aim to expand on its position within the custom cycling club clothing market. A British Cycling club coach with Level


2 track coaching qualification, Kennison rode the junior world championship road race in 1982 as a member of a team that included future cycling stars Adrian Timmis and Chris Walker.


 VULPINE Apparel label Vulpine has appointed former Chanel London head of design James Greig. Having been in discussion to bring the


experienced designer to the label for some time, Nick Hussey, Vulpine managing director told BikeBiz: “I’ve wanted to bring James in for some time and we’re very pleased to finally have him on board.” Greig will now have design input on everything from the apparel line, through point of sale material and the web portal Vulpine.cc.
