SCOTT DAVIES Virgin Atlantic has appointed Scott Davies as general manager of UK sales. Davies worked previously as commercial director at Amadeus UK, and before joining Amadeus he was at British Airways for ten years, in roles including corporate sales manager and head of trade sales.
WILSON YONG Wilson Yong has been appointed UK and Ireland general manager for Singapore Airlines, taking over from Phee Teik Yeoh, who has returned to the airline’s head office in Singapore. Yong, who is based at SIA’s Chiswick office, has been with the airline since 2001 and was previously general manager for Korea, based in Seoul.
ED DUNNE
Ed Dunne has been appointed as corporate channel manager on the Air New Zealand UK sales and market development team. Dunne joined Air New Zealand in 2008 and has held a variety of sales roles with the airline, most recently business development manager for Europe.
SIR ROY MCNULTY Sir Roy McNulty has been appointed chairman of the board of Gatwick Airport Ltd, starting on April 1. McNulty has held senior positions in aviation since 1988, and is a former chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority and of National Air Traffic Services (NATS). He joined Gatwick’s board in 2011.
JULIA CURTIS Julia Curtis has joined travel management company Gray Dawes as head of sales. Curtis, who will be based at the company’s head office in Colchester, joins from Radius Travel where she was global account manager. She previously worked as business development manager at ATPI.
RICHARD YOUNG Richard Young has been appointed head of sales at Hillgate Travel, leading the business development team. Young has more than two decades of experience in travel and hospitality, and previously worked as a business development manager at Mondial Assistance, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and KDS.

PROCK-SCHAUER Wolfgang Prock-Schauer has been appointed chief executive of Air Berlin, after acting as transitional chief executive since September 2011. His previous positions include a two-year period as chief executive of BMI, and as chief strategy and planning officer for Air Berlin.
BEN HARPER Serviced apartment provider SACO has appointed Ben Harper as director of sales. Harper was previously sales and marketing director at Go Native. Prior to that, his corporate travel industry roles included general manager of leisure sales at Eurostar, and global account manager at British Airways.
WILLIAM STEUNENBERG William Steunenberg has been appointed network business development manager for ATPI Group’s worldwide partner offices. Previously, he was the company’s international account manager. Past roles include account management positions at Austrian Airlines and web consultancy De Telefoongids.
REZIDOR HOTEL GROUP Olivier Harnisch (left) has been appointed executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Rezidor Hotel Group. Harnisch was previously vice-president for northern and central Europe at Hilton Worldwide. He joined Hilton in 1999 as director of operations at Hilton Dresden, and other roles have included cluster general manager for Munich. Rezidor has also appointed Richard Moore (right) as area vice-president for UK and Ireland across all brands. Moore joined Rezidor in 2011 as area vice-president for Park Inn by Radisson. Previous roles have included managing director for property consultancy CBRE Hotels.
ANNE JENSEN Jumeirah Group has appointed Anne Jensen as director of sales for Western Europe. Jensen started her career at the Landmark London hotel, and worked for ten years for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels – her most recent role was sales and marketing director for the group’s hotels at Chelsea FC.
