CONFERENCE INFORMATION
THE VENUE For our 2013 Asian Conference we have chosen the Philippines. The venue, that of the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel, is sited in Lapu Lapu City on the exotic island of Mactan, which is very close to Cebu and linked by two bridges. The hotel itself offers a wide range of activities to its guests, including racquet sports, yoga, cookery and golf. Originally a Muslim settlement, the island was colonised by the Spanish back in the 1500s. Today, this densely populated island is home to a wealth of flora and fauna that is sure to delight any visitor. Basically a coral island, Mactan provides ample opportunities for water sports and is an ideally situated base for any delegates wishing to further explore the beautiful Philippine archipelago.
FEES The full delegate fee is €1650. This includes four days’ conference participation, a full set of conference papers, service provider workshops, scheduled one-to-one meetings (inclusive of meeting room) and the Training Day on 8 March, as well as lunches, coffee breaks, airport transfers, the Networking Party, an invitation to the Delegate Dinner and the city tour.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND The Ground Handling International conferences are specifically designed to bring senior industry executives together to exploit networking opportunities and to discuss major industry issues. If you are part of the international ground handling community, responsible for airline ground handling decision making or a supplier of services or equipment to the ground handling industry, you should attend.
HOTEL Hotel accommodation is not included in the delegate fee. Information about special rates at the Shangri-La Hotel will be provided in the booking confirmation email.
