The Lighting Industry Association Laboratories

Our expertise is in lighting and we have been providing an independently run testing service for over 20 years, situated in our own purpose built laboratories in Telford.

As you’d expect of the highest quality laboratories, we have the largest range of accreditation for lighting and support products from both UKAS and ILAC in the UK.

Being a UK Government appointed Notified Body under the Low Voltage Directive, an LIA Laboratory Certificate and Test Report provides you with a high degree of market place credibility within the lighting industry, both here and abroad.

We provide international CB test and certification in association with our certification body TUV Rhienland. In partnership with TUV we can cater for the CCC mark for China, GOST for Russia and GS mark for Germany. We also deliver SASO Certificates of conformance for entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the cTUVus mark, which is widely accepted in the USA and Canada.

Our clients range from the largest lighting companies through major high street retail chains right across to new companies just starting out. Our activities cover all aspects of the lighting industry both in the commercial and domestic arenas.
