WHAT’S NEXT FOR INTECHNOLOGY?


Next year, InTechnology are taking its infrastructure and applying it to the healthcare industry. The company intends to turn telehealth on its head! The company has set up InHealthcare, building upon the man- aged service model, which has been InTechnology’s historic product portfolio. It is working in partnership with the NHS to provide patient- centric telehealth solutions. InHealthcare provides not just data and network, but have now entered the application market with healthcare products designed by clinicians which meet real medical needs. Telehealth has the potential to completely revolutionise the healthcare industry, with applications across the board. From helping people with long-term conditions (LTCs) such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes successfully administer their own health care routine, to dealing with the behavioural changes needed by people with poor diets; telehealth can help so many people. NHS trusts and CCGs are attempting to invest in technology that really works. Telehealth improves care delivery in their areas and reduces costs by cutting urgent admissions to critical care facilities. It gives patients the power to manage their own conditions at home, under the supervision of a clinical team, who are informed of any major problems with the patient if their condition worsens.


WHY CLOUD EXPO EUROPE? CCI meet up with InTechnology’s key speaker, divisional director for data


cloud services, Stefan Haase, who’s currently responsible for driving the overall data and infrastructure business lines for the company, to chat about the show.


As this is the fi rst time InTechnology has attended Cloud Expo, Haase explained the reasons behind the company’s decision to come on board with the award-winning show. “InTechnology haven’t actually at- tended the Cloud Expo before, but we are regulars at many other cloud events and thought leadership forums,” commented Haase. “This will be our fi rst visit to the Cloud Expo, but we are hoping it will be the fi rst of many. I have heard nothing but good things from the industry about this event, and the fact that Cloud Expo Europe won the Best Trade show award in 2012 really shows that it is the place to be if you really want to meet the right people in the Cloud computing industry.”
