Delta and Virgin’s transatlantic expansion


DELTA Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic Airways have signed a joint venture that sees Delta acquiring the 49% stake in Virgin previously held by Singapore Airlines. Both airlines claim the venture will create an expanded transatlantic network and enhance competition between the UK and North America, with greater benefits for customers travelling on those routes. Delta invested $360 million in the
