What’s new Promotions A new brand campaign, ‘So Much More’, has been unveiled by the Bermuda Department of Tourism, replacing the rather nebulous ‘Feel the Love’ slogan. Part of a 10-year National Tourism Strategy and giving agents a stronger sales message, it is designed to highlight the island’s history, culture, attractions, high-end appeal and passionate people. The Bermuda Department of Tourism has launched a ‘Linger Longer’ campaign giving clients who stay three to fi ve nights at one of 15 selected


hotels a free night. Bookings must be made by March 15 2013 for travel by March 30 2013.


Operators and cruise lines Norwegian Cruise Line’s new ship, Norwegian Breakaway, launching in May 2013, is offering seven-night cruises from New York to Bermuda, between May and October 2013 that spend two nights at King’s Wharf. www.ncl.co.uk

Hotels


The Reefs Hotel is closing for 10 weeks from January 3 to March 12, as part of a $1 million project to give the bathrooms a modern makeover. Twenty-one were renovated last winter, 15 this year, with the rest in winter 2013/14. The club condos will remain open during the refurb.
