IT’S… Epson’s first twin-stacked passive 3D projector system.
DETAILS: Designed for educational establishments, museums, exhibitions and the hospitality industry, the EB-W16SK is said to offer a low total cost of ownership and is compatible with any 3D signal format. The system is made up of
two individual projector units, stacked together in a specially designed mount. The projectors are connected via USB, in a command and control setting, with the supplied polarising plates attached to each lens. With both projections overlaid, images are then electronically aligned using the automatic
AMX MXD-430
IT’S… The smallest member of the Modero X Series family.
DETAILS: The MXD-430 is a full-featured touchpanel that delivers automation and control inside any conference room. It also offers new levels of functionality which make it equally well suited for use outside a meeting room as a visual tool for scheduling. Programmable red and green LEDs on both sides of the panel make it easy to look down a hall and determine which rooms are occupied or available. Like all Modero X Series touchpanels, the 4.3in model offers multi-touch capabilities, gesturing, swiping and tapping. Also onboard are advanced communications technologies like support for
Near Field Communications (NFC), Bluetooth connections and video streaming.
Other technologies include in-plane switching glass, which offers 80º viewing for exceptional resolution, vivid colouring and sharp images. And, for installation convenience, its Power over Ethernet feature means that only a single cable is required for power and data.
AND ALSO: With the release of the MXD-430 4.3in model, the Modero X Series of touchpanels is now
complete. The other models include the 20.3in and 19.4in panoramics and the 10.1in and 7in widescreens.
IT’S… The latest addition to the eBeam range – an interactive solution which turns any projectable surface into an interactive board.
DETAILS: The eBeam Edge receiver uses infrared and ultrasound to communicate with the eBeam stylus – and together they can turn content into a digital file that can be saved and shared. In business meetings, for example, files displayed from a laptop via a projector can be marked up or interacted with via the ‘virtual’ whiteboard, and saved together. The eBeam software combines more than 10 multimedia and navigation tools in one console, which allows users to control everything on the computer from the board itself. Because products built with eBeam technology require less hardware,
they are up to 50% less expensive than traditional interactive whiteboards, while offering a similar level of quality and functionality. They are also highly portable and flexible. Also in the range is the eBeam
Engage, a retrofittable multimedia solution which mounts securely to existing surfaces. It includes speaker, microphone, keyboard, scroll knob and smartphone-like wireless keyboard and mouse. Additional peripherals can be connected via USB. The product range is targeted at business and education markets.
AND ALSO: Luidia eBeam products are distributed by Imago.
