From his huge Pets Recordings debut, ‘Entrance Song’, through an arsenal of personal re-edits, to his most recent ‘Vertigo’ EP for San Francisco’s Dirtybird, Eats Everything is the man whose beefed-up house beats are as big as his presence in the booth. On tour with Pete Tong after a whirlwind year, DJ Mag USA caught up with him to find out about his new label, a forthcoming album and finally tying the knot in Ibiza this summer...

bass, he’s been DJing since he was 12, inspired by the likes of Tony de Vit and LSD back in his rave days in Bristol, the West Country city that’s making big impressions beyond its size. After 10 years of struggle in the studio with thoughts of giving up, his wife gave him an ultimatum; he had one more year to make it. glamorous, but it’s got to be done”. However, with the recent release of another hit EP, plans for a new record label and album in the New Year, and a premier US tour under his belt, things are looking more and more glamorous for Eats Everything every day.

So how are you doing these days? “I’m doing really good, actually, mate, really good indeed. I just got married, my career’s going pretty damn well, and I’m about to tour America, which is exciting. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Congratulations on getting married. When did that happen? “A month ago yesterday. We got married in Ibiza. It was at this three-tiered bar on a cliff with its own private beach. It was really cool.”

So how was your summer? “Summer was amazing. I did pretty much everything I wanted to do DJ-wise. I played pretty much all of the dream places. I’ve already played Fabric [the iconic London club], but I played Fabric again. I got to play all of my favorite festivals — Secret Garden Party, I played Croatia — it was just a jam-packed, amazing summer.”
