WINTER WARMER
Cosy feet are happy feet…
TAKING their inspirations from the Western Coast of Scotland, Vans have opened the vaults with the release of their 2012 Winter capsule collection – a clever collaboration with the iconic brand Harris Tweed. Utilizing three types of robust fabrics, with square-cut hide laces peaking out of aged metal eyelets, it’s the perfect combination of fresh, easy to wear shoes and classy, refined cladding. However, it’s the Era 46 kicks that have the edge over the range, cut with tweed and cotton twill plus a hint of suede. We might have to invest in two pairs of these bad boys. Find them exclusively at

The winter conundrum solved.
THERE’S something pleasing about the Polo Ralph Lauren logo. It’s a symbol that, despite it being ridiculously high-brow (after-all polo is not exactly the sport of the nation), strikes a chord and promises an item that will be made in a quality fashion, likely to last and impress. This season we’ve got the hots for their puffa jacket. The choice out there is ridiculous but we’re going to stick our necks out and give them the biggest seal of approval. Down and feather filled, they’re made from a water resistant fabric and are gently quilted with a concealed storm placket. Perfection.
