The association of event communication agencies (ANAé) – a non-profi t organization founded in 1981 is the principal trade association of French expert, specialist agencies in event communications, tourism, business and professional organizations. The ANAé brings together 70 agencies in France and more than 1,500 full-time employees who produce events in the year 7500 (2008 fi gures). All members are selected for their qualitative and quantitative references, such as dedicated activity, experienced performances and professionalism, liability, ethical conduct, respect of


legal and fi nancial aspects, on the incentive fi eld: product launches, PR, corporate hospitality, motivation, incentives and so on.All the members of ANAé are ‘short-listed’ as specialists in service providers of major industrial and service companies in France.


The aims of ANAé are:


• Interacting with clients on issues of trade • Bringing together professionals from a powerful reference label • Participate actively in the organization of the World Event • Offer advertisers the tools to optimize their relationships with agencies • Represent the profession with public and professional • Qualify and develop vocational training • Being a permanent observatory

Established in 1985, COCAL is a civil non-profi t body of Latin American Professional Congress Organizers (PCO’s). The Confederation aim is to unite the efforts of the region’s countries to improve the performance of the Latin American Meetings Industry. Members include 16 Associations, 1 per country from the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Panamá, Paraguay, Honduras, Uruguay, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Spain.
