p24: Bally’s successful G2E

MEI has redefined expectations of note acceptors yet again with SC Advance. Enhancements were driven by customer requests to improve upon core measures of performance— acceptance, speed and security— and do so in a manner that is backwards compatible with the existing installed base.

By maximizing the number of street-grade notes accepted, while simultaneously increasing the security against counterfeit notes, the MEI SC Advance is a step forward on the most important measure…operator profitability.

G

2E was fantastic, the best for years. A great buzz about the place, and you could even forgive it being

in the truly dreadful Sands Expo. Rumours abound that the show will be on the move again soon, I hope they are true. One thing that never fails to disappoint on visits to

Vegas though, the card-rattling masses on the Strip hawking their escort wares. How can a world-renowned destination have such tawdry tat – and ultimately, such a source of litter – on the streets day after day? Oh, and to answer my question in last month’s col- umn: loads of Japanese visitors, lots of Aussies, and plenty of English.
