showing increasing growth for the card company in the US market. Expo visitors were treated to a look at Copag’s US market-exclusive 100% plastic cards, plus their world-renowned casino cards, alongside retail options. The company said that the show was a great opportunity to meet potential customers from markets they are not yet working in, like Australia, and stated that their products were very well received. In fact, the US has Copag’s only international office, in Miami where it has been since 2002, serving the large consumer market in the US. Copag bring to their customers the chance to play with the same cards used in large casinos and poker tournaments on PokerStars all over the world. Copag has big plans, but they’re keeping
tight-lipped until 2013 – watch this space for more information.
Since Casino Technology released the
Penthouse brand, Vice President Rossi McKee reports its positive reception among players and operators. Testing was completed in July 2012, and machines have been installed in Bulgaria, They were scheduled for installation in Panama by mid-October. In the future, Mexico will come on board shortly and in a southern California Indian casino by the end of 2012. “We are negotiating with Asian customers.

toppers, slot stands and graphics. For 2013, new game concepts will incorporate Penthouse-based themed video and interactive features that benefit players. Casino Technology also has licenses for additional new games. Motormania is a themed multigame of five choices. Gamopolis’s projected 23 games will each have multiple games which a player may select by theme. Casino Technology has launched a remote game server and online platform in Europe. All Casino Technology games may be used on it. Based on patented architecture, players can play on multiple devices like phones, iPads and computers. The patented PlayMe automatic roulette piano is both a player and automatic piano that is already on location overseas. Quixant’s star continues to rise, and they
enjoyed a stellar G2E, a show packed with business opportunities. Quixant representatives were joined by several key individuals from AMD’s embedded team at the show, demonstrating the strong technology partnership between AMD and Quixant. range. Also on demonstration at the stand were Quixant’s new DisplayPort monitors utilizing Multi Stream Transport (MST) technology to daisy-chain multiple HD displays from a single DisplayPort connector. Quixant showed this technology driving 10 independent screens from a single QX-40.
EGT enjoyed G2E too, with visitors paying close attention to the new Premier product line cabinets, the P-22/26 and P-22/22. Ergonomic design, widescreen monitors, and great multigame offerings on the company’s own Exciter II platform, they should prove a success in all the markets EGT currently work. EGT also showcased the Premier Multi-2 Multigame, with 28 games, many of which are new. The company’s Vega-R8 electronic roulette
was, of course, on the stand, working in conjunction with Vega-PS terminals, a multi- wheel product with 22” and 24” widescreen monitors. They’re compatible with EGT’s Roulette Center and wheels by top manufacturers Abbiati, Cammegh and TCSJOHNHUXLEY. The machines can be linked to up to three roulette wheels simultaneously, displaying live video and statistics of each wheel on the individual monitors. EGT’s Cat 4 Cash Multi-Level Progressive Jackpot System also drew appreciative glances from customers, a product which has already proven itself a success for EGT. Last but not least came the United Mystery Jackpot System, which can be connected to more than 100 machines of ANY brand and features three levels of Mystery jackpot. “The G2E Show in Las Vegas is one of the
