G2E 2012

products out there, but Alfastreet say they were first on the market with simultaneous betting, which in jurisdictions where such gambling is legal, is gold. Simultaneous betting allows the player to choose 2 games and play them at the same time at the same screen. This is definitely a hit among the players, but most importantly, it shows Alfastreet’s progressive thinking and vision.

The company is also experiencing great

success in Asia and South America, with terminals in Singapore, Phillippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia, plus an exclusive deal signed with a major Latin American operator – and another with a major cruise line operator. On the back of a great year, G2E was

Alfastreet’s opportunity to exhibit with a local partner in Las Vegas – so don’t be surprised if we’re reporting on their success in North America this time next year.

Interblock had one of the show’s big ‘WOW!’ moments within their VIP hologram gaming lounge, with an absolutely stunning demonstration of a gamig application of Musion’s projection technology. Strictly speaking, it’s not a holographic projection as it uses a thin metalized screen, but the images produced on it are as close to 3D as we have ever seen without the use of glasses. Absolutely crisp, high definition… It was pretty amazing to see, and part of the display was showing how the technology might be used in a live dealer scenario in a casino. Mr. Ian O’Connell, Director at Musion, said of working with Interblock: “We’re delighted Interblock has recognised the huge potential Musion offers both gaming establishments and players. With holographic technology, Interblock has created a professional, engaging gaming platform destined to be the future of gaming

entertainment. “With Musion at its heart, players can enjoy an intimate, exciting experience that’s brought to life by a technology that is the definition of cutting edge. Interblock is the perfect gaming partner due to the company’s focus on excellence, luxury experiences and market leading technology.” Just as appealing though, were Interblock’s G4D Organic range – new striking designs of automated gaming solutions with a really appealing, retro Americana look and fantastic signage on top. They’ve made the most striking multiplayer electronic gaming installations in the industry even more attractive.

Aristocrat exhibited dozens of new products at G2E, including: The popular Wonder 4 series has expanded

to a new Wonder 4 Special Edition collection for late 2012. It includes Buffalo, the #1 themed product, plus Indian Dreaming, Wild Patagonia and Golden Zodiac. It also launches a new set of games like 50 Lions, Wicked Winnings II, 5 Dragons Deluxe, and Timberwolf. Other new machine groupings are Mr.

Cashman, with its three new game series: Cashman Live, Mr. Cashman VIRIDIAN WS and Cashman Fever. The new Legends Series premiered in the VIRIDIAN WS cabinet. The nLive virtual casino allows consumers to

enjoy games from their favorite casino brand all day, every day, from non-casino locations, using their desktop, laptop or mobile device. It expands a casino’s options for marketing casino specials, upcoming events, new games, and more. The nLive sites are customized to the casino brands. The Oasis 360 casino management system

has been ranked as best player tracking system by Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs. The Oasis

360 presently monitors equipment in more than 285 casinos, the most in North America. The nRich bonusing engine technology is a module of Aristocrat’s sophisticated Oasis 360 casino management system that rewards the player over player groups, using the player’s Average Daily Theoretical win. The nRich has a meter display right on the screen, informing the player of a potential bonus. The nLiveLink lets club members enroll and

monitor their balances online. It eases operators’ marketing location and online communications and promotions. Data analysis is enhanced for both land-based and online activity, promoting customized offers. The VERVEhd cabinet has innovative math and jackpot. Players have multiple choices of betting options, with the jackpot scaled to the player’s bet, providing the chance to win up to a $2.5 million top jackpot.

TransAct is getting great traction with the Epicentral product, its couponing suite that allows operators to market into the customer’s hands. Melissa Chiauro took CI through the product and their exhibit, saying: “We’ve done a slot demo this year to make the product even easier to understand for customers. It really illustrates the power of Epicentral. Here we have a hot unrated player, say, with $50 coin-in in a certain length of time; the coupon that comes out when his $50 goes in within, say, 20 minutes, is that we’re going to pick up your $20 bar tab, but you need to sign up for a player’s card first – it’s to encourage time-on- device and also to encourage player’s card sign- ups to develop loyalty. Of course, the promotion can be anything the operator wants. “You can use a new player’s card as a

promotion too, for example, so it’s a one-time only rule within Epicentral that the first time the player’s card is put in the player is automatically rewarded. And the tool is working for casinos already, as Melissa told us: “We have Epicentral installed and the casino in question wanted to use it to increase carded play; it’s a local market casino, and around 120 days in to using Epicentral their carded play increased by about 30 per cent, which is very strong. We have several other installations happening too.” The proof is in the figures, folks, and those figures are pretty impressive.

MEI brought its comprehensive cash management solution to G2E visitors, the combination of SC Advance and EASITRAX Soft Count. By networking the slot floor to the soft count room, these award-winning products raise the bar for value and performance expectations while maximizing operator profitability. SC Advance features enhanced recognition
