ASHRAE 52.2-1999 test standard. Easy access for mainte- nance is provided through one door with one compression latch. One PowerCore Filter Pack replaces up to three tradition- al cartridge filters, resulting in fewer and faster filter changes. Filter Packs are changed without tools and recover easily from dramatic spikes in pressure drop during pulse cleaning. Donaldson Co. Ph: 800-365-1311 Web site: www.donaldson.com

Plasma Beveling Process HyPerformance HPR plasma systems features new edge profil- ing technology designed to help fabricators and CNC table manu- facturers achieve accurate bevel cuts more easily than previously. The new technology is similar to Hypertherm’s patent-pending True Hole process in that it makes it easy to consistently optimize bevel performance, reducing significantly tiral and error time.

Cut charts will be embedded into CNC/CAM software and made available to its partners for inclusion with their proprietary CNC/ CAM solutions. Enhancements to the HPR product line include a new 3.0-kW fiber-laser system and a 200× plasma system. The new Powermax 105 will be demonstrated. Hypertherm

Fiber Laser Technology

The 3015 NX-F fiber laser will be introduced with a fiber laser oscillator, an X-axis linear drive, head preset auto-focus processing a 64-bit NC with 15” (381-mm) touch screen NC panel. The XYZ stroke of the NX-F is 125.9 × 62.9 × 4.7” (3198 × 1598 × 119 mm) with positioning accuracy of 0.0019/20” (0.05/500 mm). Rapid traverse rate on the single- axis machine is 4742 ipm (120 m/min), or 6680 ipm (170 m/ min) on simultaneous machines. Also being shown is the 2-D eX machine, which features a 6-kW resonator. The eX line features an eco mode that cuts running costs by up to 90% during standby. Another featured product is the XL line laser for large-size processing of thick sheet cutting applications. Hydraulic Press

Company will display a custom hy- draulic press specifically engineered to showcase its versatile, made-to- order capabilities. The modular-con- struction hydraulic press features the latest in control technology with on- board features to maximize energy efficiency. Each corner of the ram will feature a different guidance method,

including gib and post guidance, to account for the vast majority of potential customer applications. Multiple applica- tion engineers will be present to discuss how made-to-order solutions can efficiently tackle visitor applications, including compression molding, heated platen, forming, drawing, pow- der compacting and those requiring off-center loading.
