Visitors must register to receive a show badge to attend the event. Advance registration is free of charge through Nov. 9. Beginning Nov. 10 the cost to attend the exhibits is $50. No one under 16 years of age will be admitted.
FABTECH Education The FABTECH education program has been expanded for 2012. The program now features over 50 new sessions, presentations in Spanish, and expanded management and lean manufacturing tracks. For the fi rst time, a preshow Lean Manufacturing Overview Workshop will be offered on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 (see below for further details). Individuals who attend AWS education programs are
awarded one PDH (Professional Development Hour) for each hour of education program attendance. Individuals seeking FMA Recertifi cation Credits will be awarded two credits for each conference session attended (forming & fabricating, cutting, or fi nishing tracks) plus an additional two credits for attending the show. Individuals who attend SME education programs may be eligible to receive one credit per hour attended toward their SME-managed recertifi cation requirements. Tube Processing Technology Exhibit highlights include the LT Fiber Laser and Elect XL Tube Benders, along with EM80 end forming machining center, LT Jumbo Laser, and cold saw equipment. The 2-kW LT Fiber Laser processes highly refl ective materials such as brass, cop- per and aluminum, as well as galvanized steel and thin-walled tubes.
