DAN DRYER Stand 10.400

Launching a new, innovative UV hand dryer, DAN DRYER is setting whole new standards for public lavatory hygiene. A prototype will be presented at the ISSA/Interclean exhibition in Amsterdam, from 8th – 11th May 2012.

Crucial in the development of this new DAN DRYER hand dryer is intelligent UV technology, which has never previously been applied in connection with warm-air hand dryers. Pioneering with this unique machine functioning as both air purifier and hand dryer, DAN DRYER is indeed once again improving solutions for optimum hygiene in lavatories accessible to the public.

By means of UV light from two fluorescent lamps safely and strategically placed inside the dryer, the machine renders airborne viruses and bacteria harmless by destroying their DNA, leaving them unviable. Upon activation of the touch-free hand dryer, the purified air flows through the motor and out through the air outlet grille. In other words, the air blown onto the hands of users is both clean and healthy!

Boasting an impressively low power consumption of only 0.0014 kWh – or less than 0.05 cents per drying cycle – the UV

DEB

hand dryer distinguishes itself as being remarkably environment-friendly as well as an economically sound investment in optimum hygiene.

An extra feature is the setting allowing the machine, when not functioning as hand dryer, to serve as air purifier running at lower speed. The applied UV technology thus allows the machine to contribute to the minimizing of obnoxious lavatory smells.

Employing the unique UV concept, DAN DRYER eliminates the disadvantages often associated with other hand dryer models – as e.g. the currently popular “hands-in” hand dryers. The new UV dryer thus allows users to feel totally confident in respect of hygiene, not having to worry about unpleasant smells or having impure air, bacteria or sprinkles of

polluted water blown onto their hands.

The housing of the UV hand dryer is manufactured in brushed, stainless steel, excelling the same elegant design as all other products in the DAN DRYER STAINLESS DESIGN series.
