together with examples from its extensive line of mould temperature control and chillers. Roquette will show its Gaialene line of bio- based plastics, which are produced using a

proprietary starch grafting technology at its recently commissioned 25,000 tonnes/year facility in northern France. Plant based contents of more than 50% are claimed for the new resins, which are pitched at durable and semi-durable applications. show its latest controller for sequential moulding applications. The device provides sequential actuation control of up to 16 valve gates and can be used with both pneumatic and hydraulic types. Features include automatic and manual testing modes for each valve and individual temperature control of each circuit. Sequential filling is typically used in production of large parts where it is necessary to avoid the formation of weld lines. The focus of the Tria display at Plast will be the

latest version of its JM line of granulators, which are designed for in-line recovery of injection moulding sprues and scrap. The company has redesigned the units to incorporate Blue Line design features applied on larger models in its range. This has resulted in a 20% reduction in energy consumption (now a maximum of 700W), a similar reduction in footprint and noise levels. Access to the hopper and chamber for cleaning and maintenance has also been simplified, says the company.
