A MAG FOR ALL SEASONS

Parking News has received a face lift. Sarah Juggins explains why it is time to change

S

pring is one of those times of the year when people take stock of their lives and seek to make changes. In the home, spring cleaning is a time to get rid of unwanted items, declutter cupboards and make space.

In business, it is a time for tax returns, budget reviews and planning ahead. And so it is with Parking

News. Keen observers will spot some differences throughout the magazine this month, with a revised front section, a change in style for the news pages and a range of innovative features throughout the magazine.

All change

The idea behind the changes is to give the publication a crisper and more contemporary style. It has been three years since the journal last had a redesign so we thought it was time to give it a new, fresher feel to keep it moving with the times. The team at Parking News is always willing to listen to any feedback from readers – about these changes and any other thoughts you have on the magazine and its content. A positive image It was really pleasing to

see parking receive such positive press in the weekly magazine, The New Statesman. All too often parking, and the people on the frontline of civil enforcement in particular, receive bad press, so it is gratifying that the columnist, Nicholas Lezard, has agreed to write a piece for the magazine as a guest columnist. The more the parking industry can work with the media to put forward a positive image, the better it is for the industry as a whole.
