Sales up for aromatherapybrand

After an investment of more than €200,000, The Salon Shop - suppliers of hair and beauty products and equipment - has opened its newest store in Kinsale Road Business Park, Cork, creating five new jobs.


“We are really excited to open our new shop in Cork city,” says Salon Shop founder and Managing Director Aidan O’Mahony. “Since 2009 we have been based in Bandon which continues to trade well for us. We decided to extend the business due to an increased demand from the city and also to make it easier for delivery and dispatch of products to all corners of Ireland.”


The Salon Shop also works in conjunction with Waverley Academy to offer training courses in hair and beauty from their Bandon base.


Eve Taylor™Professional Aromatherapy Skin & Body Care has reported that sales have grown over 27% in Ireland over the last 12 months, which is consistent with the pattern of growth seen in the previous 24 months.


Eve Taylor OBE, told us: “This is great news for our brand in Ireland and we are delighted that our partners DK Distribution are experiencing such positive feedback to all of our products. They have worked extremely hard to develop our growing customer base. We are looking forward to seeing what 2012 brings as our new Advanced Skincare is introduced across Ireland.”

Relocation, relocation!


Euro Products have moved to new premises in Carryduff, just outside Belfast.


The new facility has a larger, purpose built warehouse to allow the company to continue their commitment to prompt dispatch to salons throughout Ireland. In addition there is a larger training facility in which the company will offer a full range of courses and workshops.
