Patients should have online ac- cess to their medical records, pro- posals by the NHS Future Forum suggest.


The Government commissioned report states that patients should be allowed to view their whole


medical history, study the results of diagnostic tests and see which drugs they have been prescribed. Ministers have already backed the idea.

cess and provide a legitimate rea- son. The change to universal on- line access could be operational in England within three years, the forum says.
