The waiting will soon be over for the finalists in the 2012 Business Travel Awards. The winners of the 22 categories will be celebrating their success at the gala dinner in the prestigious surroundings of the Great Room in London’s Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, on Monday, January 23.
MORE THAN 1,100 people will be attending the business travel industry’s biggest night out of the year – there are only a handful of tables left if you have not already booked your place. But you will need to be quick. Following a champagne
reception, guests will sit down to a sumptuous dinner, during which the awards ceremony will get underway. As in previous years, the presentations will take place between courses, thus allowing the maximum networking time both before and after the awards. After the formal proceedings,
guests can adjourn to the charity casino for a flutter, meet up with old friends and acquaintances in the bar, and dance the night away once again to the music of Star. Plus there will be a disco.
In addition to all the regular
categories, ranging from travel management companies to airlines and hotel groups, there are three buyer awards and the David Brown Outstanding Achievement Award, which will be presented to the individual deemed to have made the most significant and lasting contribution to the business travel industry during the last 12 months. A more rigorous entry process
for this year’s awards, plus a strengthened panel of judges comprising buyers from a broad cross-section of industries, from finance to pharmaceuticals, take the 2012 accolades to a new level, representing the zenith of achievement. We look forward to seeing
you there and celebrating the success of the winners. n
