All the latest news www.eca.co.uk FLASH CONTINUES INTO EARLY 2012

THROUGHOUT 2011, the ECA ran a series of free workshops specially developed to help London- based SMEs exploit ‘low to no carbon’ business opportunities. Feedback was enormously positive, and new workshops, listed below, have now been scheduled for early 2012.

The workshops are being offered as part of the FLASH programme, a unique initiative led by the Institute for Sustainability and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The ECA is running the programme’s Electrical Services Network in partnership with BSK-CiC, a community interest company. Under the FLASH

programme, eligible businesses (those with a London borough postcode, annual turnover of under £42 million and fewer than 250 employees) can sign up to complete 12 hours of free workshops – broadly equivalent to two workshops. Given the programme’s popularity, places on these remaining workshops are limited. Whether you are new to FLASH or simply wish to complete your 12 hours, phone 08457 22 66 55. For online bookings and full workshop descriptions, visit www.businesslowcarbon. co.uk/flashelectricalnetwork The FLASH programme is due to finish by April 2012, so book early to avoid disappointment.
