Dr. Khaled El Shalakany

Dr. Khaled El Shalakany, Senior and Managing Partner, holds degrees in engineering, management and law from a number of universities, including Cairo University, the University of Toronto and Cambridge University. He was also enrolled for five years as a graduate research student in law at London University (SOAS). As a computer systems engineer, he was awarded the IBM Professional Excellence award in 1982. He has been practicing law since 1985. Dr. Khaled El Shalakany has been practicing as a litigation lawyer for more than 25 years and has represented clients before all types

In the field of alternative dispute resolution, Dr. Khaled El Shalakany has acted as counsel, arbitrator and expert in over 60 commercial arbitrations in a number of jurisdictions and centers of arbitration including the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, the Bahrain Center, the Dubai International Arbitration Center, the ICC Court of Arbitration, the LCIA, and ICSID.
