AS WELL AS designing and manufacturing cycling components in the UK for over two decades, Ultimate Sports Engineering (USE) is also the company behind Exposure Lights, which launched six years ago. Combining British innovation and
engineering, Exposure has created a new lighting line-up for 2012 featuring new re- designed bodies, new LED technology in the form of Intelligent Thermal Management (ITM) plus a host of other upgrades to keep its products shining brighter for longer. Intelligent Thermal Management is a patented technology which constantly monitors the LEDs to ensure they don’t overheat and become inefficient. ITM keeps the LEDs operating at the optimal output, saving battery power and increasing the burn time. Those upgraded LEDs have been used across the 2012 range, which was showcased to UK consumers and trade at the NEC Cycle Show last month. The LEDs have increased the output of all lights from the entry level Spark all the way through to the especially bright Six Pack. Product bodies have been revamped too,
so they’re now better than ever at getting rid of the unwanted heat produced. The lights remain compact, as light as possible and robustly built to shine whatever is thrown at them, according to the firm. Existing features such as Cable Free Design,
Smart Port Technology accessories and the function button Fuel Gauge all remain, with the range offering devices for every cyclist from the commuter to off-road night riders. The company recently launched its business-to-business website at
