Over 200 members of the UK bicycle industry gathered at the Hilton Metropole, NEC, to see who won the BikeBiz Awards 2011 – the only awards to honour the UK cycle trade. Over 70 finalists competed for the13 awards. Read on for highlights from the night and reactions from the winners...
AN ARRAY OF companies took home key accolades at the BikeBiz Awards 2011. There were 11 winners of the 13 awards in the most competitive cycle trade awards yet. And how did we whittle down the 78 finalists to the final winners? With the help of 79 judges from the trade (see below), who made their votes confidentially. The 2011 BikeBiz Awards night saw over 200 industry executives from retail, distribution, manufacturing, PR and marketing gather at the Hilton Metropole at the NEC, Birmingham to celebrate the industry’s high achievers.

Industry executives from retail, distribution, manufacturing, marketing and the media gathered to celebrate the trade at the BikeBiz Awards 2011.
Electra Bicycles was Premium Partner for the 2011 BikeBiz Awards, with Koga Bicycles, Citrus- Lime and Cycle-SOS Event Partners. A prize draw on the night saw Rouleur’s Richard Bean handed a case of wine and a free digital marketing audit of the website, courtesy of Alienation Digital.
