Playing just 339 yards off the tee, golfers weigh playing it safe with a fairway wood or hitting driver to take on the four bun- kers that come into play 100 yards short of the green. All is not as it seems, as a hook or slice will end up as crocodile chum in the lily ponds right and left of the fairway, while a large rippling green awaits players approaching with a short iron.
